Taxotere, also known as docetaxel, a chemotherapy drug approved for the treatment of different types and stages of cancer, including breast cancer. Although temporary hair loss may be a possible side effect of chemotherapy or radiation therapy, complete and permanent hair loss (alopecia) has been linked to the use of Taxotere.
In December 2015, the FDA updated the warning label for Taxotere to include the risk of permanent hair loss associated with the drug.
Some of these side effects include, but NEVER are limited to the following;
-Loss of head hair (including eyebrows)
-Diagnosis of permanent hair loss, also known as alopecia.
